Recovery Must Be Self-Redirected

Forcing any one program on the individual robs them of their personal development. We are not interested to see if our residents can do what they are told. We would like for them to learn what is best for them and how to stay sober for themselves while living life on life’s terms. Only by giving more freedom can we gain more independence. We focus on creating an environment conducive to recovery. This allows a resident to develop a personalized path in a lasting and meaningful way. In our experience, long term recovery can only be achieved by setting adaptable, realistic personal goals.

We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but no amount of authority ever kept a person clean. It seems every halfway has a special insight. The magic curfew that prevents relapse. If court systems and legal consequences cannot deter behaviors no house rule stands a chance. We are actively supportive of the positive directions our clients take.
